From summer 2025, LUMA Arles is launching a new line of exclusive creations designed in collaboration with artists featured in its program. To inaugurate this first collection, discover the bucket hat designed by Bas Smets and Eliane Le Roux.

Renowned for conceiving the Parc des Ateliers at LUMA Arles—a true experimental Mediterranean landscape—Bas Smets has developed a distinctive approach to landscape, at the crossroads of architecture and ecology. He was also selected to redesign the surroundings of Notre-Dame de Paris. Together with Eliane Le Roux, he creates ecosystems that transform the way we experience our environment.

The bucket hat’s pattern is inspired by the illustrated herbarium presented in the exhibition Climates of Landscape, echoing the unique biodiversity cultivated at the heart of the LUMA Arles park.
