AR #1 AQUACULTURE is the first issue of AR, a publication from Atelier LUMA. 

AR originated from Atelier LUMA's algae research project, to explore our relationship with living things and amplify the voices of those who observe our environment through the prism of algae. 

AR#1 AQUACULTURE takes the cultivation of algae as a starting point for interrogating how we relate to aquatic environments, and how we might reimagine the notion of utility to provide new narratives for a way forward.
